onX is a family of GPS mapping apps built for outdoor activities rather than a single general-purpose map: onX Hunt focuses on hunting, public and private land boundaries, property-owner information, hunting units, game data, and scouting; onX Offroad focuses on motorized trails, vehicle navigation, and off-road recreation; and onX Backcountry is designed for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and climbing. Subscriber features commonly include topographic, satellite, 3D, and land-ownership maps; route planning; waypoints; trip tracking; weather and activity-specific layers; and offline map downloads.
For subscribers, using onX Hunt Premium as an example:

Some advanced capabilities—such as nationwide maps, recent imagery, TerrainX 3D, route-building tools, and application research—are reserved for Elite.
Offline navigation requires downloading the relevant map areas in advance and keeping sufficient storage and battery available.

The fact that there are different facets of subscription, and that each of those facets offer public and private land boundaries with ownership information, makes this software My primary tool when doing anything outdoorsey. Weather it be camping, fishing, rockhounding, its one of my most valuable tools.
